Winner Whiner Weimaraner

I realized last night while I was working at Barnes & Noble that I had forgotten to pick a winner for my giveaway. Whoops! I had an ‘aha!’ moment when I was walking by the fantasy section and I saw The Name of the Wind just chillin’, and then I was like, “Oh, shit!” Then after work this morning, because I’m a professional now, didn’t you know, I assigned numbers to every comment and plugged all y’all’s numbers into a random generator. It gave me the number ’9,’ which just so happens to be:

Sir!

From Etcetera, Etcetera. He doesn’t have a Twitter account. (This literally has nothing to do with anything, other than I think he should have a Twitter account.) So happy Tuesday, Sir; I will put the book in the mail tomorrow. Or maybe Thursday. Or Friday. (You know, whenever my brain remembers to function properly.)

#1000

Back before this whole contest first started, I noticed that I was very close to hitting 1,000 comments, and I wished to celebrate. And what better way to celebrate than bribing you to read and comment, and then randomly rewarding you? And so, the 1,000th Commenter on Ashley Awesome, and the winner of my mysterious contest is . . .

Craig, from The Fount of Useless Info (also on Twitter)!! Wooo! Craig!

Unfortunately, Craig did not respond to the original post so I do not know what he wants to win. So what should Craig win? I’m taking suggestions.

I would also like to acknowledge two runners up who tried very hard to win: Abigail (who literally missed being the winner by like two seconds), and Emily (who figured out my contest, I think, and started posting on every entry she could find). You will both be receiving consolation prizes in the mail shortly.
