On Thursday, instead of studying for the biggest test of all time, I made a video. In this video, I interviewed a cardboard cutout, spoke into a beglittered microphone, and probably broke about ten copyright laws. Why did I do this? Because I’m a member of The Fangirl Academy, and because I can’t just do something normally like other people.
The Fangirl Academy was started last year by the good people over at All Things Fangirl, in order to get our geeky voices heard. As a member of the Academy, I nominated and then voted for all manner of pop cultured geekery, and then they asked me to be a presenter.
Head on over to their site to check out the winners, and to watch my beyond-geeky presentation of Best TV Comedy and Best Actor in a TV Comedy.
