back to school, back to school, to prove to dad that i’m not a fool

mysticxfAs a warning, I feel that I should announce before you read any further that none of this is information you need to know, unless you need to know just exactly what I am procrastinating or ignoring or ditching at any given moment when you’re talking to me on Twitter or Gchat or Gmail or whatever else stupid thing I can think of doing instead of what I’m supposed to be doing. Or, so you know, you can yell at me for not doing it.* Whatever.

You’ll notice that I did not schedule time for blogging or DVD watching, because hey, if we’re being honest here, I don’t need to do that. Just locate the free time that I have during my busiest days (most likely where I’ve penciled in “Homework” and “Lesson Planning”) and that’s most likely when I’ll be blogging and/or watching my DVDs. And crying in a corner.

*I almost decided not to post this because if I know you, Abigail, you are totally going to abuse your yelling at me to keep me on track privileges.
**Not including TV schedule . . . that comes later.
***Thursday night TV is going to kill me. Nine shows. NINE.
****A book a week for this class; some are 150 pages long and some are 800 pages. Guys. Seriously.
*****Which until about mid-December will mostly consist of me getting drunk at UA football games with Pride
of Arizona alumnae.

  1. I really enjoyed my post-colonial lit class…partly because the professor was some kind of wunderkind.

Had a 20th century Brit Lit class, too, which is where I read The Good Soldier and Lucky Jim.

    Good luck!

    • I got a detailed explanation yesterday as to why we’re not reading Lucky Jim, and why he made us read The Good Soldier over the summer. He talked A LOT. But I’m mostly just mad that we’re not reading Remains of the Day like the course description said we were, because I freaking love that book.
